• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an American curriculum school. Preferably experience teaching in the UAE with inspection experience.
• Knowledge of DSIB Framework: Familiarity with local educational guidelines and cultural context to effectively address the needs of students in the UAE.
• Technological Proficiency: Proficient in using educational software, digital resources, and tools that support online and in-class learning.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that are aligned with the NGSS science standards.
• Student Assessment: Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods as needed. Use formative and summative assessments to gauge student understanding and drive instruction.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and respect. Maintain high expectations for behavior and academic performance.
• Lab and Experiments: Regularly organize, plan, and conduct exciting hands-on experiments and laboratory activities to reinforce scientific concepts and engage students in practical learning experiences.
• Integration of Technology: Utilize educational technology and interactive tools to enhance instruction and facilitate a modern, student-centered learning experience.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and the school administration to ensure cohesive curriculum alignment across subjects and grade levels.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching practices and scientific advancements.
• Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress, strengths, and areas of growth. Attend parent-teacher conferences and provide constructive feedback.
