Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar. QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses. QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM). QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the Meteorology Department as MET Instructor So, if you're ready to take your career to new heights, read on! Are you in possession of excellent instruction skills coupled with the following qualification and experience? If so, we think you'd love this role! MSc in Meteorology, preferably Ph.D with Specialization in NWP-WRF software from a Reputed University. Preference will be given to those who have completed WMO Class I or II Forecasters Training from an approved institution. Have Instructional techniques or equivalent training. Five years' work experience in a technical capacity as a Meteorology forecaster or in meteorology teaching in reputed Institutions. Three years' experience as an instructor or lecturer in a Meteorological training institute. Experience in course design and delivery desirable. A working knowledge of WMO structure desirable. Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and team building skills.
