We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Metal Works Designer with expertise in designing stainless steel and aluminum structures to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and possess a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, and structural design. You will be responsible for creating detailed designs for custom metal products, ensuring that all projects meet design specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting: Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for steel and aluminum components (e.g., railings, staircases, frames, gates, etc.) using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and fabricators to understand project requirements and deliver optimal design solutions.
• Material Selection: Select the appropriate steel and aluminum materials based on strength, durability, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical Specifications: Prepare technical specifications, fabrication drawings, and assembly instructions for the production team.
• Design Modifications: Provide design alterations and solutions to meet safety standards, cost constraints, and functional needs.
• Quality Control: Ensure all designs are compliant with industry regulations and safety standards while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
• Production Support: Assist the production team in interpreting design drawings and offer technical guidance as needed.
• Project Management: Oversee design timelines, ensuring that all projects are delivered on schedule.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in metal works design, with a strong portfolio of steel and aluminum projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other relevant CAD software.
• In-depth knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and structural design principles.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
