The Role

We are seeking a dependable and responsible Messenger Cum Driver to join our client ( Forwarding Company) in Abu Dhabi. Job Responsibilities are listed here below Document Collection and Delivery: o Collecting delivery orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other important documents from various locations. o Delivering these documents to clients, government offices, customs offices, and other stakeholders promptly. Vehicle Logistics (VL) Collection: o Collecting and delivering vehicle logistics documents, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly. Customer Inspection Assistance: o Assisting with customer inspections, particularly in regions like Abu Dhabi. o Ensuring that all documents required for inspections are available and presented accurately. Customs Liaison: o Handling the submission and collection of documents required for customs clearance. o Acting as a liaison between the company and customs officials to facilitate smooth customs processes. Communication: o Maintaining regular communication with the operations team, providing updates on delivery statuses and any issues encountered. o Ensuring that clients are informed about the status of their documents or shipments. Administrative Support: o Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry related to logistics and forwarding activities. Vehicle Maintenance: o Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained in good condition, including regular servicing and cleanliness. o Keeping track of fuel usage and reporting any vehicle issues to the management. Compliance and Reporting: o Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. o Preparing and submitting regular reports on completed tasks, routes taken, and any incidents or delays encountered. Emergency Handling: o Responding to urgent requests for document collection and delivery. o Ensuring quick turnaround times for time-sensitive shipments or documents. Customer Service: o Providing courteous and professional service to clients during pick-ups and deliveries. o Addressing any client queries or concerns related to the logistics services provided.



Requirements

• Valid UAE driver's license with a clean driving record. o Prior experience in a similar messenger or driver role. o Familiarity with Abu Dhabi roads and locations. o Strong time management and organizational skills. o Excellent communication and customer service abilities. o Ability to handle packages and documents safely and securely. o Physical fitness and stamina for lifting and moving packages. o 2 to 3 years' experience working with Logistics/ Forwarding companies
