We are seeking an experienced

Merchandiser

with a strong background in the

preloved fashion industry

to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate must be fluent in

German and English

, possess experience working with

luxury and mid-range brands

, and have a proven track record in

buying, styling, and reselling

fashion items (shoes and handbags) across various online platforms. This is an onsite role, and remote work is not an option.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Buying:

Source, select, and curate high-quality preloved fashion items (shoes and handbags) from various brands, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer demand.

Brand & Product Analysis:

Analyze the performance of multiple luxury and mid-range brands to optimize inventory selection and sales.

Inventory Management:

Oversee stock levels, pricing strategies, and product placement to maximize profitability.

Online Reselling:

Manage and optimize product listings across various

online resale platforms

, ensuring competitive pricing and compelling product descriptions.

Market & Trend Analysis:

Stay updated on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and industry movements to drive business growth.

Supplier & Vendor Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and resellers to ensure a consistent and high-quality inventory supply.

Sales & Marketing Support:

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop campaigns that enhance product visibility and drive engagement.

Quality Control:

Ensure all preloved fashion items meet quality standards before resale.

Requirements:

Fluent in German and English

(both written and spoken).

3 to 5 years of experience

in

merchandising, buying, or styling

within the

luxury and mid-range fashion

industry.

Strong experience in the preloved fashion industry

and knowledge of authentication and valuation of secondhand luxury items. Proven track record of

reselling preloved fashion on various online platforms.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and consumer trends. Proficiency in using inventory and e-commerce management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in fashion retail, e-commerce, or resale businesses. Knowledge of sustainability trends in the fashion industry.
