Job Description

:
  • Give answers to customers' questions or concerns related to the product they are charged to sell and demonstrate good knowledge of the product.
  • Close as many deals and transactions as possible.
  • Process or help process payments made by the customer - whether in cash or by credit card.
  • Report sales accurately.
  • Prepare inventory reports.
  • Provide feedback forms to clients.
  • Reach out to potential clients and convince them about the product or brand to expand the business.
  • Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best possible service.
  • Achieve personal goals while supporting the goals of the team.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest purchase options, and invite them to upcoming events.
  • Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
  • Ensure the proper display of products.
  • Make sure all required quantities of products are displayed in the pharmacy and eliminate stock shortages.
  • Attend training sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Implement pharmacy merchandising, layout, and customer traffic flow to maximize sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image, and ergonomics for customers.
  • Understand the principles of marketing and sales, including product offer development and features-benefits-solutions selling.
  • Ensure that regular expiry checks occur and appropriate action is taken where necessary.
  • Ensure pharmacy stock is tallied.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the pharmacy department.
  • Understand the principles of marketing and sales, including product offer development and features-benefits-solutions selling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards, and procedures, and cooperate with hospital management to meet these requirements.
  • Work in accordance with documented OSH procedures and instructions, as well as specific responsibilities.
  • Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Notify OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and issues, and assist with the preparation of risk assessments and incident reports.
  • Comply with waste management procedures and policies.
  • Attend applicable OSH/infection control training programs, mock drills, and awareness programs.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.

Qualifications:
  • Preferably a college graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a sales professional in a patient-focused environment.
  • Proficient in technology application skills, including basic MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, maturity, good judgment, and the ability to communicate professionally with a diverse range of individuals; superior phone etiquette skills are essential.
  • Patient-focused, service-oriented, patient, and understanding.
  • Enthusiastic about sales and revenue generation.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals and targets.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
