Position Title: MEP Technician

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated MEP Technician to join our team. The MEP Technician will play a crucial role in assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of MEP systems in commercial and residential buildings. This position requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of MEP systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair MEP systems as needed, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials necessary for MEP installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with MEP Engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training or certification in MEP systems preferred.
• Proven experience as an MEP Technician or similar role in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in MEP installations and repairs.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
