MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Supervisor

The

MEP Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing and managing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within a project or facility. This role ensures the effective installation, maintenance, and operation of MEP systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision & Coordination

Oversee and manage MEP-related activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth project execution. Assign tasks to MEP technicians and monitor their work for quality and compliance. Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.

2. Installation & Maintenance

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of MEP equipment to avoid downtime. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot MEP system issues efficiently.

3. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all MEP work is in accordance with local regulations, safety codes, and industry standards. Implement health and safety measures for MEP-related activities. Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections.

4. Project Management & Reporting

Assist in planning and scheduling MEP activities for new and existing projects. Prepare reports on work progress, system performance, and maintenance needs. Coordinate with procurement teams for spare parts and materials.

5. Team Leadership & Training

Train and mentor MEP technicians and junior staff. Ensure a high level of performance and professionalism within the team. Conduct regular meetings to address issues and improve MEP operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Minimum

5+ years

of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in construction, facility management, or manufacturing industries. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Familiarity with UAE regulations and safety standards is a plus.
