Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
Monitor and oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Technical Expertise:
Review MEP plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper implementation.
Provide technical guidance to staff and subcontractors, addressing issues or challenges that may arise on-site.
Ensure systems are installed as per specifications and standards.
Quality Control & Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor testing and commissioning of MEP systems and equipment.
Identify and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, or installation.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of MEP installations, inspections, and testing.
Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for project management.
Ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all MEP work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a culture of safety on-site by enforcing safety procedures and conducting safety audits.
Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to challenges that may occur during installation or operation of MEP systems.
Communicate any delays or issues that could impact project timelines to project managers.
Team Leadership & Training:
Supervise and train junior MEP staff and subcontractors to enhance team performance.
Promote teamwork and ensure all team members adhere to company standards.
Budget & Resource Management:
Assist with resource planning and management, ensuring necessary materials and tools are available for installation.
Help manage the MEP project budget and work to minimize cost overruns.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification.
Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical Safety, etc.) are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience in managing MEP systems on construction projects.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Good understanding of safety regulations and quality control standards.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA, First Aid) are a plus.
MEP-specific certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) are preferred.

On-site at construction or renovation projects.
Schedule:
Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime depending on project deadlines.

Ability to work in construction environments, including standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs or ladders.
