MEP Site Engineer with FIT-OUT EXPERIENCE
A. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• MEP ENGINEER REQUIRED, PREFERABLY SHOULD HAVE FITOUT EXPERIENCE
• Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
• Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
• Diagnose breakdown problems
• Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
• Carry out quality inspections on jobs
• Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
• Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
• Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
• Monitor and control maintenance costs
• Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
• Improve health and safety policies and procedures
• Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines
• Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
• Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns
• Create and submit detailed bids that outline costs and timelines for construction or extraction projects in accordance with deadlines
• Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of managers, engineers, drafters, and manufacturing personnel during all project phases
• Review contracts and budget requirements with site facilities manager and clients
• Manage KPIs as per the client requirement and all documentation
• Collect and analyze the business data from various departments to prepare reports and presentations for management
• Prepare operational monthly reports and executive summary for monthly performance
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines
• Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
• Arrange all general complaint segregation to each issue to be conducted as per schedule requires
• Keeps track of any service request and ensures that follow up is being done to its completion
• Notifies PM Manager for identified or suggested opportunity for improvement
• Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
• Break projects into doable actions and set time frames
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
• Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects progress
• Analyze risks and opportunities
• Supervise project procurement management
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
• Prepare BOQ
• Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure the ongoing functionality of all building systems, including Electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and security
• Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
• Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations as necessary
• Source, contract, and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize cost-efficiency while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Develop and manage annual facilities budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
• Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget variances
• Duties are not confined to above details and with according to company's requirement
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in MEP design, installation, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• With UAE driving license
