MEP Site Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE - Site

We are looking for a highly skilled MEP Site Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in to have a hands-on collaborative approach to site work with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven MEP skill set and broad knowledge base and ability to quickly and efficiently read (English) to follow and understand project drawings, detailed specifications and technical submittals. Confidence, knowledge and strong English communication skills are critical as you will be interacting with a variety of stakeholders. Note: This is an outdoor on the job site position, not a site office desk job. Agility and a can-do attitude required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Coordinate and carry out installation and commissioning of MEP systems ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Site Monitoring: Hands on approach to site works while carrying out inspections to monitor progress and streamline installations to maximize on manpower and materials while ensuring compliance with contract documentation.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with internal site team members, team leads, office engineers, procurement team as well as client project management members and inspectors.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to guarantee that installations meet the project specific requirements and applicable codes.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve site issues that arise during the construction process with a focus on MEP.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all activities, including progress reports, inspection logs, and compliance certificates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Site Engineer, minimum 2 of those in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems backed by international industry standard building codes and regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
