DescriptionHigh profile International Construction Consultancy in Dubai is seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor for commercial package management, cost surveying and contracts administration.MEP Quantity Surveyor that has at least 8+ years of experience in MEP (all disciplines) particularly on Data Centre\'s. Must have experience with pre-contract high level cost planning through to BQ production together with post-contract commercial activities.Experience with measurement for BQ production under POMI, CESMM 3 and 4 and NRM is preferred.We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys their job and has an interest in a fast paced and rewarding environment, must be willing to travel between other emirates, the successful candidate will be reporting the Commercial Director who is based in Abu Dhabi.Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:
- Cost Reports
- Tender Analysis
- Providing Project Mangers contractual advice
- Managing forecasts & cash flow
- Coordination of Bills of Quants
- Handling all MEP related sub contract matters on site
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (MRICS is a plus but not essential)
- Clear experience for an MEP Consultancy on Data Projects
- Good understanding of construction methodologies
- Have excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
- Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in the GCC is essential.
