The Role

To be located in Abu Dhabi, we are seeking a qualified quantity surveyor with experience in Commercial Interiors fit-out projects. Alongside the internal QS team, the candidate will serve as a support member for all interior fit-out projects, with a primary focus on MEP works. Working together with clients, contractors, and project managers will be crucial as you coordinate procurement, and keep exact financial control over the course of the project. Key Responsibilities: o Accountable for estimating, tendering, and a range of post-contract activities for engineering projects, particularly in interior fit-out and MEP works. Evaluation of drawings, specifications, and additional tender documents including site visit assessment, client engagements etc. o Prepares and verifies the Bill of Quantities in accordance with the specifications, and develops the project scope of works along with cost estimates. Evaluate tenders and examine contracts, Assesses material needs for the project and develops sub-contractor packages. Examine and assess subcontractor quotations, and create a comparative sheet of rates from various suppliers. o Compiles documents for tender submissions. In the job execution phase, accountable for submitting documents for the Consultant's approval, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating with the Procurement Department. o Develops estimates for supplementary tasks and corresponding proposals. Prepares Order confirmation, the payment certificate and includes the approved variations. Preparing Payment Certificates, Reports of Project Purchases.



Requirements

Ideal Profile with Qualifications: o Demonstrated expertise as a Quantity Surveyor in the fit-out or construction sector, possessing MEP experience. o Profound comprehension of cost management, budgeting, and material specification for fit-out projects o Proficiency in building materials, labor costs, and the fit-out procedure/approvals from ADM, ADCD, ADDC. o Must possess a validated and accredited degree in Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. o Should possess the capability to generate estimations from CAD drawings. Carefully prepare initial drawings to correlate o Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works and calculations in order to substantiate findings and ensure compliance. o Immediate Recruitment; Only Selected Candidates Will Be Invited for an Interview.
