Responsibilities:
• Estimation, Project planning, and scheduling: Review the BOQ/RFQ and prepare estimations. Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules, considering the scope of MEP works, available resources, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with other project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of MEP systems.
• Budget management: Prepare detailed budgets for MEP systems, considering material costs, labor expenses, equipment rentals, and other project-related expenses. Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Material procurement and coordination: Identify MEP equipment, materials, and systems required for the project and ensure their timely procurement from approved suppliers and manufacturers in coordination with the procurement manager.
• Design coordination: Collaborate with architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems into the overall project design.
• Site supervision and coordination: Oversee on-site MEP activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and quality standards
• Subcontractor management: Assist in the selection and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, monitor their performance, and resolve any site-related issues.
• Progress monitoring and reporting: Monitor MEP installation progress, track productivity, and report on-site activities to the project manager.
• Quality assurance and control: Establish and implement quality control measures for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with relevant UAE regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the quality of MEP installations.
• Risk management: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with MEP works. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Project documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and correspondence. Prepare regular progress reports and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
• Health and safety compliance: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on the construction site, adhering to UAE regulations and best practices. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of MEP experience in the UAE construction industry
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.
• Site experience and ability to lead the team
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across stakeholders
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Degree or diploma in an MEP engineering discipline

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
