Position: MEP Engineer

Reporting Manager: Head of Projects

About The Job:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a variety of construction projects. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other specialists to ensure the systems function efficiently and meet the required specifications.

:

1Develop MEP design drawings, schematics, and system layouts for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
2. Use AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software to create detailed drawings.
3. Evaluate and select appropriate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems based on project requirements, budgets, and energy efficiency standards.
4. Conduct load calculations for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
5. Review design codes and local regulations to ensure compliance.
6.Coordinate MEP designs with other building systems (structural, architectural, etc.) to ensure integration.
7. Work closely with the project manager, contractors, and other engineers to oversee the implementation of designs.
8. Attend regular project meetings to ensure the project is progressing according to schedule and within budget.
9. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including system specifications, design reports, and change orders.
10. Review and approve contractor submittals, including equipment specifications and shop drawings.
11.Oversee the testing, commissioning, and final inspections of MEP systems.

Required Skillls:

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other MEP design software.
2. Knowledge of building codes, local regulations, and safety standards.
3.Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and their integration into building designs.

4. previous work experience as MEP Engineer in High rise building construction projects

Qualification :

1.Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in electrical engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience
