We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Procurement Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant

experience in the MEP industry within the UAE

, and will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials and services required for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for various MEP projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure the best possible pricing and quality.

Cost Control:

Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure they align with project budgets. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

Compliance:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure the procurement process aligns with project timelines and goals.

Market Research:

Stay updated on market trends, new products, and potential suppliers to continuously improve the procurement process.

Qualifications:

Experience:

5-8 years of procurement experience in the MEP industry within the UAE is essential.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge:

Deep understanding of MEP materials, suppliers, and market trends in the UAE.
