Position Overview: The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for MEP projects. This role ensures that all MEP procurement activities align with project requirements, budget constraints, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and Procurement:
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for MEP materials, equipment, and services.
• Solicit and review quotations, proposals, and bids from suppliers.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Supplier Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor supplier performance, including delivery schedules, quality, and compliance with contractual terms.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and project continuity.
• Project Coordination:
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure that all procurement activities align with project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate the delivery and logistics of materials and equipment to project sites.
• Cost Management:
• Monitor and control procurement costs to stay within project budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Prepare and present procurement cost reports and analysis to management.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks in the procurement process and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that all suppliers meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the MEP or construction industry.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
