The Role

We are looking for a skilled MEP Planning Manager to join our a contractor in Abu Dhabi. As an MEP Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of MEP systems for construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex projects within the construction industry. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and efficient completion of construction projects. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning. - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to the project team. - Review and analyze MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. - Manage MEP procurement activities, including vendor selection, material procurement, and contract negotiations to optimize project costs and timelines. - Lead and mentor a team of MEP planners, engineers, and coordinators to drive productivity, quality, and safety performance on construction sites. - Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external consultants to resolve MEP-related challenges and ensure project success. - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in MEP systems to drive innovation and efficiency in project planning and execution.



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline. - Master's degree or professional certifications in project management or construction management is a plus. - Proven experience in MEP planning and management within the construction industry, particularly with main contractors in the UAE. - In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability. - Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Ability to analyze complex technical data, solve problems, and make strategic decisions to optimize MEP project outcomes. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - A proactive and results-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in MEP project planning and execution.
