Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Mechanical Site Engineer

to oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems at our project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Review project specifications, drawings, and plans to ensure compliance with design and site requirements. Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure work quality, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with safety regulations. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Identify and resolve technical issues and coordinate with design teams for modifications when necessary. Ensure that all mechanical work aligns with local codes, industry standards, and client requirements. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, and structural) to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and material approvals. Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel, contractors, and workers.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in MEP construction projects. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and other engineering software

. Understanding of industry codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Work Location & Conditions

Site-based role with frequent interaction with contractors and project teams.
