We Are Hiring: MEP Manager
The MEP Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in construction projects. This role ensures that all MEP aspects align with project requirements, budget, safety standards, and timelines. The MEP Manager works closely with architects, contractors, consultants, and site engineers to deliver high-quality and efficient building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
• Develop and manage MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Review MEP designs and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate MEP work with civil, structural, and architectural teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall project execution.
Execution & Quality Control:
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, sustainability requirements, and best practices.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on MEP installations.
• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to contractors and site teams.
Vendor & Contractor Management:
• Select and manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and adherence to project timelines.
Cost & Risk Management:
• Track project costs related to MEP works and control expenditures within budget.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure energy efficiency and cost-effective solutions in MEP system design.
Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure adherence to local building codes, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits for MEP works.
Stakeholder Communication:
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding MEP project status.
• Provide technical support and reports to project management teams.
? Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in MEP project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Primavera, and MS Office.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes and safety standards.
