Job Overview
The MEP Foreman will oversee the installation and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in joinery fit-out projects. In this role, you will ensure that MEP systems are seamlessly integrated with interior design elements, such as partitions, furniture, and finishes. You will be responsible for ensuring that electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC systems are properly coordinated with the building's interior elements, meeting project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Supervision : Manage and lead MEP technicians and laborers on-site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• MEP Installations : Oversee the installation of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and lighting systems, ensuring seamless integration with joinery works.
• Coordination : Collaborate closely with joinery and carpentry teams to ensure proper alignment of MEP systems with interior finishes, such as partitions, furniture, and other elements.
• Quality Control : Ensure all MEP installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Safety & Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for the MEP team.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education : Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP supervision, ideally within joinery fit-out or interior construction projects.
• Skills : Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration with interior design elements, including partitions, furniture, and finishes.
