Mep Estimator
Job Description
Cost Estimation: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for MEP systems( Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing system).
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for MEP materials and services (if required).
Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing.
Budget Management:
Assist in developing project budgets.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of estimates, change orders, and cost variations.
Prepare Material submittals for consultant review
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using Autocad,
Knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience:
Previous experience as an MEP estimator or similar role( min 2 years GCC experience).
Familiarity with Dubai's construction industry and local regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,400.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
• Estimation: 2 years (Preferred)
