Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated MEP Estimation Engineer to join our team. As an MEP Estimation Engineer, you will play a vital role in our projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. Your expertise in MEP fit-out estimation and extensive industry knowledge will contribute to our successful project bidding and execution. Salary Budget - 4000-6000 AED/pm

Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for MEP fit-out projects, including material quantities, labor requirements, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Conduct thorough analysis and review of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.
• Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the bid management team to develop competitive bids for MEP fit-out projects. Ensure accuracy and completeness of bid documents, including pricing schedules, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost breakdowns.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate favourable terms. Evaluate supplier proposals and select the most suitable options based on cost, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Value Engineering: Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize cost efficiencies without compromising project quality. Propose alternative materials, systems, or construction methods to reduce costs while maintaining performance standards.
• Cost Control: Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase. Identify potential cost overruns or deviations from the initial estimates and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed estimation reports, including cost breakdowns, assumptions, and justifications. Generate accurate and timely reports for project stakeholders, management, and clients as required.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information. Provide support and expertise during project meetings and presentations.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to MEP fit-out estimation. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through self-learning and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical(Compulsory).
• Minimum 4-8 years of experience in MEP fit-out estimation, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
• Having UAE Driving license(Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
