Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Estimator to join our team, specializing in estimating costs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within civil construction and modular building projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate detailed cost estimates for MEP systems in civil construction projects.
• Review MEP-related inquiries and support estimators with calculations and requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Ensure compliance with international building codes, particularly those relevant to the UAE modular building and construction industry.
• Collaborate with internal departments to prepare requisitions for vendors and follow up on status.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation for external bids, adhering to timelines.
• Handle multiple company bids simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Maintain proficiency in internal estimating systems, technologies, and software.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Estimation Manager or management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the modular construction industry, maintenance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in interpreting contracts, subcontracts, blueprints, specifications, and RFQs.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of pricing terms and civil estimating services (preferred).
• Expertise in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
• Experience with report writing and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with analyzing data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects.
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and analytic tools.
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in estimations.
