Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for MEP systems( Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and Drainage).
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination:

• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for MEP materials and services.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing.

Budget Management:

• Assist in developing project budgets.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of estimates, change orders, and cost variations.
• Prepare Material submittals for consultant review

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Autocad, Planswift
• Knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Experience:

• Previous experience as an MEP estimator or similar role( min 2 years GCC experience).
• Familiarity with Dubai's construction industry and local regulations.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or a related field.
