Job Description

Purpose:

Execute the construction of the project in a particular discipline and in accordance with the contract requirements and maintaining the Company's Quality and HSE systems on site within allocated time and budget to achieve maximum customer's satisfaction.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Direct supervision and allocation of work activities for MEP resources.
• Review, evaluate and approve technical submissions, design concepts, engineering drawings, and installations for MEP activities necessary to meet design requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Preparation and submission of Method statements, ITPs, Risk Assessment, QA/QC plans, etc as required.
• Monitors all work activities and ensures they are in conformance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications and method statements
• Ensures all necessary submission / approvals and supporting activities needed for smooth and timely execution of construction works are in place.
• Plans and monitors the progress and report to the customer and to the Project Manager and responsible for implementing corrective actions to arrest slippage.
• Ensures required inspection and tests are carried out, and completing records of successful completion of works and approvals for hold and witness points identified on the Inspection and test plan.
• Approves material and equipment requisitions are in accordance to budget quantity, technical specification, quality and cost allowable.
• Monitors non-Conformance's, ensures close out through timely implementation of necessary preventative and corrective actions.
• Reports to Management in any changes in the projects, which will result cost or time impacts on the company and assist in establishment of claim management strategy.
• Assists in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping strategies for proposed project/s and in the development and preparation of technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with experience in MEP
• 3-5 years experience in the Field, specifically (Swimming Pool, Water Features)
• In depth understanding Mechanical components in Sewerage Treatment Plants.
• Knowledge of the practical application of Engineering Science and Technology
• Has a valid UAE Drivers License
