Job Title: MEP Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. MEP Design & Execution: Design, plan, and manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for construction projects. Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations. Ensure compliance with local regulations, DEWA/SEWA standards, and international codes. 2. Project Management & Coordination: Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems. Supervise MEP work at construction sites, ensuring timely and quality execution. Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP services. 3. Procurement & Cost Control: Assist in selecting materials, equipment, and subcontractors for MEP installations. Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards. 4. Testing & Commissioning: Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure MEP installations meet safety and operational efficiency standards. Document project progress and provide reports to management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an MEP Engineer in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Familiarity with UAE construction codes and SEWA regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other engineering software. Strong project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
