Job Summary

:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in the design, coordination, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on large-scale construction projects. The MEP Engineer will ensure that all systems are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with building codes and regulations, working closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Design and plan MEP systems for new and renovation construction projects. Coordinate and supervise the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure integration of MEP systems into the overall building design. Monitor and maintain safety and compliance with building codes and standards. Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality control and on-time delivery. Troubleshoot any MEP system issues during installation or operation. Assist in project budgeting, planning, and scheduling. Prepare regular progress reports on MEP systems and installation status. Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineers to resolve any technical issues.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field. 4-8 years of hands-on experience in MEP engineering, especially in construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar MEP design software. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.

Preferred Skills

:

Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable building practices. Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP) are a plus. Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
