The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing MEP projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that our engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. The MEP Engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet client specifications while adhering to local regulations and industry best practices. Responsibilities: - Design and develop MEP systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. - Conduct feasibility studies and provide design recommendations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. - Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for MEP systems. - Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into overall project designs. - Perform site inspections and surveys to assess existing conditions and provide solutions for MEP installations. - Manage the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets. - Supervise MEP installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control. - Conduct testing and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively. - Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase, addressing any issues that arise. - Maintain detailed project documentation, including reports and correspondence, to track progress and changes.



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. - Proficient in using MEP design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant applications. - Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to develop innovative solutions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with sustainability practices and energy-efficient design principles is a plus. - Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. - Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
