Job Description

he MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various building projects. The role involves collaboration with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that all systems are integrated efficiently and meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis:

• Develop detailed designs for MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.

Project Management:

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of MEP components.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits and approvals.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within overall building design.
• Liaise with contractors during installation to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Site Inspections:

• Conduct site visits to oversee installation, perform inspections, and troubleshoot any issues.
• Ensure quality control throughout the construction process.

Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Develop operation and maintenance manuals for installed systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• Proven experience in MEP design and project management.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
