Scope , Responsibilities & skills

• Design Development:
• Work on the conceptual and detailed design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ensure designs comply with local and international codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems seamlessly with the overall building design.
• Drawing Review:
• Review and evaluate MEP drawings and plans submitted by contractors or other engineers.
• Ensure that the designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements or corrections.
• Project Coordination:
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors, to ensure all design aspects are fully integrated.
• Solve MEP-related issues that arise during the project lifecycle through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Site Inspections: ( will be working 50% site and 50% office )
• Visit project sites to verify the correct installation and functionality of MEP systems.
• Inspect installations to ensure compliance with design intentions, specifications, and industry standards.
• Identify potential issues early and suggest solutions to mitigate problems or delays.
• Quality Assurance and Control:
• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure systems perform as intended.
• Conduct tests on MEP systems to confirm operational efficiency.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on design reviews, site inspections, and project milestones.
• Document changes and ensure all parties are informed and compliant with updates.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and present project updates.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to support client decisions.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all MEP designs and installations adhere to relevant regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Prepare documentation necessary for obtaining permits and approvals from regulatory bodies.
• Budget and Cost Estimation:
• Contribute to cost estimation efforts to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Propose cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or safety.
• Innovation and Sustainability:
• Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design practices into MEP systems.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in MEP technologies and methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
