MEP Engineer :

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a focus on the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing detailed plans, including cost estimates for plumbing, HVAC, and general piping systems.

Responsibilities:

• Hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in interpreting plans, specifications, and schematics relevant to the trade.
• Knowledgeable about construction practices and procedures.
• Technically adept with computers and relevant software.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Resolve conflicts and challenges between MEP subcontractors during construction.
• Review and suggest solutions for MEP design issues as they arise.
• Assist in reviewing and processing MEP submittals.
• Document and update any changes to MEP designs and as-built drawings.
• Contribute to budgeting, scoping reviews, and justifications for MEP change orders.
• Support the installation and execution of MEP works.
• Supervise, manage, and coordinate the activities of MEP subcontractors.
• Oversee the coordination of MEP materials, systems, and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with MEP supervisory engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure MEP subcontractors comply with quality documentation and records.
• Guarantee adherence to project safety regulations by MEP subcontractors.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning phases of MEP systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of UAE-based experience (applications without UAE experience will not be considered).
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
