v Job Title: MEP Engineer

Job Overview:

As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various construction and maintenance projects. You will collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that building systems meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design: Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

2. Coordination: Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural designs to ensure integration and compatibility.

3. Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates for MEP components and systems, considering materials, labor, and equipment.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that MEP designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

5. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for MEP systems.

6. Project Management: Manage MEP aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

7. Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices in MEP designs.

8. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies related to MEP systems.

9. Testing and Commissioning: Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems to ensure functionality and performance.

10. Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, contractors, and vendors to address concerns, provide technical guidance, and ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field.

- Proven experience in MEP design and project management, preferably in the construction industry.

- Proficiency in CAD software and MEP design tools.

- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
