We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer to manage the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. The MEP Engineer will ensure that all systems are integrated seamlessly and comply with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems building projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure proper integration of MEP systems with the overall building design.
• Review project drawings and specifications to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Oversee the installation of MEP systems, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular testing and commissioning of systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and post-completion stages.
• Maintain detailed documentation of design changes, revisions, and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, progress, and any issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP engineering, with hands-on experience in the design and installation of MEP systems.
• Proven experience in primary substations and large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Certification or licensure as a professional engineer (if applicable) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with energy-efficient or sustainable design practices.
• Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in MEP systems.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
