Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Development: - Develop and design MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems for interior design projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. - Prepare detailed electrical and MEP designs, including lighting, power distribution, HVAC, and fire safety systems. - Collaborate with architects and interior designers to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the design. - Conduct site surveys to assess existing conditions and create as-built drawings.
• Project Management: - Oversee the execution of MEP works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. - Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful installation and implementation of MEP systems. - Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material specifications. - Monitor and inspect the work performed by contractors to ensure adherence to the design and safety standards.
• Technical Expertise: - Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to final handover. - Troubleshoot and resolve any MEP-related issues that arise during construction or installation. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP and electrical engineering. - Ensure all MEP designs are energy-efficient and sustainable, in line with green building standards.
• Documentation & Compliance: - Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including design calculations, technical reports, and compliance certificates. - Ensure all MEP systems meet local building codes, safety regulations, and client requirements. - Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for MEP installations.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP design and engineering, preferably within the interior design or construction industry in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
