Job Description

Our interior design fit-out company is seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman to join our team. The MEP Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in MEP design and drafting, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings and plans for MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that MEP systems are integrated seamlessly into building designs.
• Ensure that all MEP designs and plans comply with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop accurate MEP drawings and plans.
• Review and modify existing MEP designs and plans as required.
• Create 3D models and renderings of MEP systems to assist in the design process.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience as an MEP draftsman, preferably in the interior design fit-out industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP drafting software.
• Familiarity with local codes and regulations related to MEP systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.
