Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MEP Draftsman with a minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or steel structure design to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in creating detailed technical drawings for civil and structural projects and be proficient with AutoCAD or similar software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings for civil and steel structure projects based on specifications, blueprints, and project requirements.
• Prepare drawings for construction, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Work closely with project engineers and architects to develop design drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of design and construction plans.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the project team or client.
• Assist in the preparation of material and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to drafting and design.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a MEP Draftsman, specifically in construction or steel structure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and steel structure designs.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of local building codes and regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of design and drafting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Education and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Additional certifications in drafting/design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) will be an advantage.

Benefits:

• Salary Range: AED 3,000 to AED 5,000
