Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Create detailed MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.
• Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
• Proficiency in HVAC works, duct sizing and ESP calculations.
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural and structural plans to ensure seamless integration.
• Communicate effectively with other drafting team members to maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
• Keep track of revisions and updates to MEP drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to MEP drawings.
• Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of MEP drawings.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman with a focus on creating detailed and accurate drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration into building designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings within specified deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering and design teams.
• The candidate must submit a sample/portfolio and the candidate should be in the UAE.
