Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

MEP Draftsman

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)

drawings, layouts, and technical schematics for construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate designs and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

MEP drawings, layouts, and schematics

using AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software. Develop

HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting system drawings

based on project specifications and engineering guidelines. Coordinate with

engineers, architects, and contractors

to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Review and modify drawings

as per client or project team feedback

. Maintain and update a

library of standard MEP details

and templates. Conduct

site visits

when necessary to gather data for design and modifications. Ensure that all drawings and documentation comply with

local regulations, codes, and industry standards

. Assist in the

preparation of technical reports, material take-offs, and BOQs

related to MEP systems. Work closely with the

BIM team

for 3D modeling and clash detection.
