Roles and responsibilities :

System Design: Design and plan the layout and specifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings, taking into account the building's purpose and occupancy.

Load Calculations: Perform load calculations to determine the heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, and Water Supply, requirements of a building.

Equipment Selection: Select appropriate equipment, components, and materials for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing systems, and Water filtration System considering energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Code Compliance: Ensure that all design work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards to guarantee safety and legal compliance.

Energy Efficiency: Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable design principles to reduce the environmental impact and operational costs of the building.

System Integration: Coordinate the integration of MEP systems with other architectural and structural components of the building.

AutoCAD and BIM: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create detailed schematics, diagrams, and 3D models of the MEP systems.

Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for MEP systems and materials, and assist in value engineering to optimize costs.

Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals involved in the building design and construction process to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems.

Aquaculture background is an advantage.

Education - Bachelors in MEP Engineering

Experience - Minimum 8 years of experience

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
