We are an Engineering Consultancy office located in Business Bay, Dubai and we are looking for an MEP Design Engineer with at least 5 to 10 years of Consultancy experience. MEP Systems Design and Analysis: \xc2\xb7 Lead the design and analysis of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for residential, industrial and commercial projects in accordance with UAE regulations and standards. \xc2\xb7 Develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for HVAC (HAP, CFM) . To analyze load electrical calculation and design DB accordingly. . To design water supply and drainage systems in adherence with DM guidelines. .Knowledge of arriving GPM for fire fighting Pumps , Fire alarms , FAB panels and other fire protection systems. \xc2\xb7 Utilize building information modelling (BIM) software to coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural components. \xc2\xb7 Perform energy analysis and implement sustainable design strategies to optimize building performance. 2. Project Management: \xc2\xb7 Manage MEP engineering projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP designs meet project objectives and requirements. \xc2\xb7 Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation measures to ensure successful project delivery. 3. Construction Supervision and Coordination: \xc2\xb7 Provide technical oversight during the construction phase to ensure MEP systems are installed according to design specifications and industry standards. \xc2\xb7 Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, identify deviations from plans, and address issues related to MEP installations. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate with MEP contractors and vendors to resolve MEP-related conflicts and ensure smooth project execution. 4. Commissioning and Testing: \xc2\xb7 Plan and oversee the Testing & commissioning process to verify the proper installation and functionality of MEP systems. \xc2\xb7 Conduct functional performance testing and troubleshooting to identify and rectify deficiencies in MEP systems. \xc2\xb7 Prepare commissioning reports and documentation for client acceptance and handover. 5. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): \xc2\xb7 Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of MEP designs and installations. \xc2\xb7 Review design documents, shop drawings, and specifications to verify compliance with project requirements and standards. \xc2\xb7 Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality of MEP installations and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering 2. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in MEP engineering 3. Proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and HAP, and other relevant MEP tools 4. In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, DEWA, DM, DCD, TRAKHEES, TECOM, DDA, JAFZA regulations, and standards related to MEP systems. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex MEP challenges. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. 7. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying updated with advancements in MEP technology and industry best practices. 8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. 9. Experience with building information modelling (BIM) and energy modelling software is desirable. 10.
