Job Description

We require MEP Design Engineer not less than 8 years of experience who will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of the HVAC and plumbing systems for Company projects. The role involves creating detailed engineering designs, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of building projects, including commercial, residential & Governmental projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, specifications, and other documentation related to MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations for MEP design.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated system design.
• Provide technical support and guidance during construction, including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) and reviewing shop drawings.
• Assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and materials for MEP systems.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and verify compliance with design specifications.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Monitor and manage project schedules related to MEP systems.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP design.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil engineering (or related field).
• Proven experience in MEP design, preferably with a focus on building systems.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Proficient in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Carrier, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing load calculations.
• Experience with construction coordination and site supervision.
