Leading Group of Companies based in Abu Dhabi, UAE URGENTLY requires

MEP Coordinator Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Review MEP quotations (technical & commercial) to ensure that it is complying with the project's scope of work, specs and budget.

Reviewing and approving subcontractors' MEP technical submittals i.e. shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-builts, material submittals, method statements, samples, mockups, warranties, maintenance & operation manuals, project close out documents, etc.

Ensuring the compliance with the authority requirement (Estidama, ADDC water & electricity, ADSWS, Etisalat, ADCD, ADMCC, ADM, etc.), arranging for and attending authorities' inspections.

Coordinating material handling, installation works, site inspections, testing and commissioning to meet the project requirements.

Carry out inspection for MEP contractor material along with QA/QC and consultant.

Conducting and facilitating meetings with MEP subcontractors, client representative and/or consultants to meet site program and solve the problems that may arise.

Ensure that MEP site instructions and non-conformance reports NCR are closed out.

Qualification & Skills:

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)

Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in a similar position in construction companies in UAE.

Fluent in English both written and verbal.

Excellent computer skills (AutoCAD & Microsoft Office).
