Key Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the below:

Model Creation and Management: Develop detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Ensure that models adhere to project-specific BIM standards and protocols. Coordination and Collaboration: Work with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) disciplines to integrate mechanical designs into the overall project model. Conduct clash detection and resolve any conflicts within the BIM model. Documentation and Detailing: Generate accurate mechanical drawings and details from the BIM model for use in construction and installation. Prepare schedules, quantity take-offs, and other documentation as required. Quality Control: Perform quality checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Maintain version control and documentation of all changes made to the BIM models. Software Utilization: Utilize BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create and manage models. Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and software enhancements.
