We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Membership Consultant & Sales Receptionist to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our members.
Position Overview:
As a Membership Consultant & Sales Receptionist , you will play a key role in driving membership growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring an outstanding experience for every individual who walks through our doors. This is a customer-facing role that combines administrative, sales, and customer service responsibilities, making it essential to have excellent communication, organization, and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Membership Sales and Lead Generation:
• Actively promote and sell memberships, packages, and services to potential clients.
• Qualify new leads, schedule consultations, and follow up with prospects.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by effectively converting leads into members.
• Provide detailed information about membership plans, services, and benefits to prospective clients.
• Customer Service and Client Relations:
• Greet and assist members and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Address member inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
• Assist with member renewals and account updates, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Front Desk Reception and Administrative Duties:
• Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, emails, and handling in-person inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized reception area.
• Process new member enrollments and ensure all required documentation is accurately completed.
• Manage scheduling for tours, consultations, and appointments for services.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work closely with the fitness team to ensure that the needs of prospective and current members are met.
• Assist with special promotions, events, and member engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment that aligns with Align Fitness' values and culture.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or front desk/receptionist roles, preferably in a fitness or hospitality setting.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google worksheet/Meta and experience with membership management software is a plus.
• Passion for fitness and wellness, with a strong desire to help others achieve their health and fitness goals.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
