Job Description

We are looking for candidates who are currently working/staying in Sharjah as Medical Underwriters with Insurance brokers preferably hence you can target candidates from Sharjah based insurance brokers. Salary range is AED 4 to AED 6K.

Hoping to receive suitable CVs and looking forward for a long-term association.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Check and verify the data and other relevant information provided by the Direct / Sales Team on Medical Enquiries and float the enquiries to the Insurance Companies to obtain the desired terms within the TAT.

Ø Negotiating on the policy rates and terms with the Insurance Companies.

Ø Manage the relationship with Insurance Companies.

Ø Ensure that customers have competitive quotes according to their requirements.

Ø Providing adequate support to the Team.

Ø Upon confirmation of business, placing the policies with respective Insurance Companies within the TAT.

Ø Maintaining the daily/weekly/monthly Quotations tracker with proper updates and sharing the same with the head of the department.

Ø All the emails and calls must be acknowledged and replied to internal and external clients.

Ø Actively obtain referrals for cross sell and other value-added services.

Ø Preparing report on pending enquiries/quotes / placing slips and coordinating with the team.

Ø Actively resolve customer complaints and highlight the same to team ahead and management.

Ø To gain adequate knowledge of all the products.

Ø Achieve monthly targets.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:

Ø Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Ø Proven insurance underwriting experience.

Ø Sound technical knowledge of group insurance products and other aspects of insurance processing.

Ø Effective communication and people skills.

Ø Sensible judgement and diligence.

Ø Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Ø Experience in handling Microsoft Office Tools and Analytical tools.

Ø Background of medical knowledge is an advantage.

Ø Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
