Translate, edit and proofread health, patient, and family education information content from English into Arabic and vice versa.
Edit and proof-read content translated by Receptionists as required.
Recommend and work thoroughly and systematically by utilizing sources of information and other resources at his/her disposal.
Perform a variety of interpretation and translation services to assist non-English speaking residents and their families.
Ask questions for the resident and family and making sure that they understand everything that is being discussed.
Assist the non-English speaking residents and family with a cross-cultural orientation to understand the nuances of medical care systems.
Provide verbal and written communication between healthcare providers, clinical staff and residents, family and visitors.
Articulate and document information accurately to convey resident and familys questions, concerns and ensure that messages are consistent with risk management directives.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work.
Participate in on-call coverage to provide interpretation/translation services during non-business hours and business hours as assigned.
Executing administration related activities in the ward
Ensuring smooth flow of information within the department by sorting and distributing mail while maintaining confidentiality.
Customer Service:
Answer telephone calls, screen calls, and transfer calls to the appropriate parties and also taking down requests for appointments.
Provide assistance for activities like coordination between departments and correspondence.
Respond to verbal and written inquiries in a timely manner.
Demonstrate customer focus when interacting with internal or external customers of the facility.
Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to resident care and issues involving non-English speaking resident, families, escorts.
Provide escort services and related information services to residents and families as required; walking or directing residents and their entourages through the system as required.
Assume the role of a brand ambassador for the facility and promoting a customer-focused philosophy in dealing with any stakeholders.
Maintain positive and effective working relationships within the facility.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned relevant to the basic responsibilities of the role.
Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

Report all OSH hazards, incidents and issues to their immediate supervisor
Attends mandatory OSH trainings in accordance with the OSHMS requirements

Contribute to the wider corporate and organizational development needs as appropriate within the scope of practice.
Takes responsibility to ensure complaints, concerns, and recommendations are escalated appropriately and documented.

Compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Abu Dhabi Management System which integrates with the Health and Safety regulations of the facility.
Adheres to and promotes recommended practice in relation to controlling and preventing infection, by taking all reasonable personal precautions necessary to avoid any potential health risks to colleagues, resident/patients/patients, families and visitors.
