:Performing document typing and formatting functions according to an established format. Transcribe and interpret the dictation into diagnostic test results, operative reports, referral letters, other documents and assisting designated department for administrative work.Responsibilities:
Interpret and transcribe medical reports and correspondence, including details on patient assessments, treatments, and prognoses, ensuring clear documentation to facilitate healthcare delivery.
Operate designated word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment efficiently to complete assignments.
Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by doctors and the department.
Maintain high-quality transcription through careful proofreading and the use of appropriate resources.
Uphold confidentiality standards for all transcribed medical content.
Demonstrate excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills with strong command over English grammar, punctuation, and style.
Assist with and coordinate departmental administrative tasks as needed.
Manage time effectively, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Follow department- or doctor-specific formatting standards to ensure consistency in reports.
Accurately understand and interpret diverse accents and various dictation styles.
Maintain excellent eye, hand, and auditory coordination for precise transcription.
Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and infection control policies, standards, and procedures, cooperating with hospital management.
Follow documented OSH procedures, fulfilling specific responsibilities accurately.
Be knowledgeable about emergency and evacuation procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Report OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and issues promptly, assisting in risk assessments and incident reporting.
Comply with waste management protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Participate in relevant OSH and infection control training programs, including mock drills and awareness sessions.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety system protocols as required.
Qualifications:
High School Level or its equivalent
Qualification: Graduate Experience: At least 2 years as Medical Transcriptionist. Skill set: Ability to transcribe medical/audio files with 100% quality. Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory
