: Medical Storekeeper
Position Title: Pharmacy Storekeeper
Location: Abu Dhabi
Position Summary:
The medical storekeeper is responsible for managing the Medical inventory and supplies. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing pharmaceutical products and supplies under established procedures and standards. The role ensures that all items are properly stored and maintained to meet regulatory requirements and supports the Medical team in delivering efficient and effective services to customers and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of Medical products and supplies.
• Record and update inventory levels in the inventory management system.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder items as necessary to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Dispose of expired or damaged items according to established protocols.
• Storage and Organization:
• Ensure proper storage of Medical products by regulatory requirements (e.g., temperature control, security).
• Organize and maintain the pharmacy storeroom for easy access and efficient workflow.
• Label shelves and storage areas for clear identification of products and supplies.
Distribution :
• Prepare and distribute pharmaceutical products and supplies to various departments and locations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all distributions and transfers.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards related to pharmacy storage and inventory management.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to inventory and supply management.
Customer Service:
• Assist pharmacy staff with locating and retrieving items from the storeroom.
• Provide support to the pharmacy team in responding to inquiries related to inventory and supplies.
Safety and Security:
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols to protect inventory and ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any discrepancies, theft, or losses to the Pharmacy Manager/Store Supervisor.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management or Medical or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical storage and handling.
