MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/CENTER EXECUTIVE

ROLE DETAILS



As the Medical Receptionist / Center Executive, you play a pivotal role in shaping the first impression of Q Enrichment. Your enthusiasm, motivation, and proactive approach will set the tone for our commitment to delivering exceptional customer care. You will be the primary point of contact for visitors and clients, providing crucial administrative support across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Greeting and Welcoming:



Warmly welcome patients, visitors, and staff as they enter the facility. Provide a friendly and professional first point of contact.

Appointment Scheduling:



Efficiently schedule and manage appointments for patients. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure a smooth appointment flow.

Patient Check-In and Check-Out:



Assist patients with the check-in process, verifying personal and insurance information. Handle patient check-out by processing payments, providing invoices, and scheduling follow-up appointments.

Inquiries Handling:



Answer telephone calls and address inquiries from patients, family members, and other callers. Respond to inquiries in person, via email, or through other communication channels.

Verification of Insurance Information:



Verify and update insurance information for patients. Ensure that all necessary insurance documentation is collected and accurate.

Hospitality Services:



Offer hospitality services, such as providing water, magazines, or other amenities to patients in the waiting area.

Appointment Reminders:



Remind patients of upcoming appointments through phone calls, emails, or SMS. Confirm attendance and reschedule appointments as needed.

Maintaining Reception Area:



Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable. Ensure reading materials and information brochures are readily available.

Handling Mail and Deliveries:



Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages. Sign for and manage special deliveries and pickups.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:



Enter patient information accurately into electronic health records (EHR) systems. Maintain and update patient records as needed.

Patient Education:



Provide basic information about healthcare services offered at the facility. Direct patients to educational materials or resources as necessary.

Collaboration with Healthcare Providers:



Communicate effectively with medical staff and healthcare providers. Relay messages, transfer calls, and facilitate communication between patients and providers.

Financial Transactions:



Handle financial transactions accurately and securely.

Continuous Learning:



Stay informed about changes in healthcare policies, procedures, and technologies. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Education:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of UAE experience as a Receptionist.

Sector Experience:

Receptionist and administrative experience in the healthcare sector.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google applications, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, and a professional appearance.

Attitude:

A great customer service attitude, excellent punctuality, solid communication skills (written and verbal), and a proactive approach to tasks.
